RIP Cassanova

Today I lost my Cassanova.  Even though he didn't live with me he has been a part of my life for the last 13 years.  He was more than just a pet to me.  He was a member of our family and it breaks my heart to think that I won't get anymore Cassie kisses.  He was always so happy and he LOVED to eat!  As you can see from the first picture, dinner time was his favorite time of the day.  He was very protective of his people and loved us all very much.  It's never easy to lose a pet but when it's unexpected it makes it so much harder.

I love you, Cassanova.

Rest in peace, buddy.

Bridemaids, Flower Girls and Ring Bearers

We got the bridesmaid dresses!  Woo hoo!  They are Vera Wang and they are so pretty.  Autumn, Kristy and Ellary will be wearing dark purple dresses and Jessica will wear a lighter purple with a HUGE bow sash (totally her).

Jessica and Kristy in the dresses that we bought.  The dress that Kristy has on is actually navy (they didn't have the dark purple in that dress in the store).
**Thank you, Aunt Linda, for coming to help with the girls!**

This is the color that Jess got but, the sash she is wearing is the sash that the other girls are going to wear with their dresses.

This is Jessica's dress--sash and all.  She's even going to wear heels!!!!!
**I am very aware that my legs are a strange whiteish/pinkish color and not very attractive.**

This is acually the dress that I bought to wear to the rehearsal dinner.  It looks really good on Autumn and Jess though.  Love this picture.  The color of this dress is the same color that Autumn, Kristy and Ellary will wear.

Here is the beautiful Miss Brooklyn.  She looks so cute.  Also pictured is Jessica's giant bow sash.

Miss Mylie looking very adorable in her dress and cast.

Brooklyn couldn't quit looking at herself in the mirror.

We like the purple sash with this dress.  Sheila was going to make a sash to go with the dress insead of buying one...then I saw this...

I have to get this dress.  It's perfect.  So if anyone knows of someone who needs two adorable flower girl dresses, send them my way (I need to sell the David's Bridal dresses so I can get this one).
This dress is from etsy--shop is YourSparkleBox. Her whole shop is awesome.  Pretty tulle outfits/costumes for little girls.

Noah's bowtie!!  It is so stinkin' cute!
I got these on etsy--the shop is blackrufflebrigade

Here is the tie for Macklen (Macklen is the 3 year old son of Jeff and Amy and Jeff is Will's best man).  When we asked him to be in our wedding, he turned us down.  I'm hoping that when he sees this awesome bowtie that I bought for him he will reconsider.

We are going to have one of the best dressed and best looking wedding parties out there!  We are very lucky.

Swimming at Aunt B's

This is where Waffles and Grover would be all summer if they could.  They absolutely love going to Aunt B's pool.

'We thought you was a toad!'

This is our new porch toad.  He has been living on our patio for the last week.  The dogs get right up in his face and he doesn't even flinch.  He is pretty badass.

Bodie Huck Smith

My cousin Ellary (and future bridesmaid) and her new baby, Bodie, came to visit us last week. Isn't he the cutest?! He is such a good baby, too. Ellary is such a good mommy. Thanks for coming to visit, Ellie! Ellie's man, Blaine, joined her toward the end of her trip and it was nice to finally meet him. You can tell that he just adores Ellie and Bodie--and vice versa. I'm mad that I didn't get any pictures of him.

Bodie LOVED Grover and Waffles--and they loved him, too!

Bodie just squealed like crazy when he was playing with Grover.  It was adorable.

Grover had finally had enough of getting his beard pulled on and was ready to get down.

Now it is Waff's turn!

Bode and cousin Thad, fresh from his night of falling asleep on the highway and rear-ending a semi!!  I can't believe he made it out of that wreck without a scratch on him!  His car is another story, though.  I love the look on Thad's face in this picture.  Bodie is wearing on of the onesies that Aunt Sheba made him--it's got a band aid on it to cover his 'owie'.  He acutally looks like he has a grandpa belly in this picture.

I LOVE this picture.  He is so adorable.  And his hat is awesome!

I think he was probably farting in this picture.  He did that a lot.

We had so much fun with them.  I can't wait until they come back for another visit!!!

OMG!

I have to get one of these for Waffles and Grover!  We heart Airstreams.

My two furry boys.

Aren't they just adorable??!!
